🦉 Hoot Owl Little Explorers Scavenger Hunt

A summer scavenger hunt adventure for kids ages 10 and under!

(Anyone ages 11-18 can participate in our Teen Hoot Owl Scavenger Hunt.)

The Hoot Owl Little Explorers Scavenger Hunt is a fun community-wide activity leading up to Cabool’s July 4th Block Party. Families will explore local parks, solve clues, discover hidden keywords, and complete the final mystery phrase for a chance to win prizes!

🔎 How It Works:

✔ Register your child below by May 21 at 12 PM to receive the first clue and keyword location

✔ Starting May 15, a new clue will be emailed every Friday

✔ The Hoot Owl carving will remain hidden at that week’s location from Friday through the following Thursday

✔ Visit the featured local park to find the hidden Hoot Owl carving and the secret keyword

✔ Save the weekly keyword in your phone

✔ Collect all keywords leading up to the July 4th Block Party

✔ Find the final keyword at a secret Block Party location

✔ Complete the mystery phrase and enter the prize raffle at the Chamber of Commerce booth

🎉 Every participant receives a t-shirt

🏆 Chance to win a carved Hoot Owl prize

📍 Final prizes redeemed at the July 4th Block Party on Main Street

NOTE: Each participating child must be registered before May 21st at 12 PM to receive a free t-shirt. Please add a ticket for each child who is participating and is up to 10 years old. Shirts will be youth sizing.
