Celebrate Independence Day at the Red, White & Bulldog Blue 4th of July Block Party & Fireworks in Cabool, Missouri! Join the community on Main Street on July 4th starting at 5:00 PM for one of the area’s most exciting family-friendly 4th of July celebrations.

This special event honors America’s 250th birthday and Cabool’s 144th anniversary with live entertainment, local vendors, patriotic activities, food, community fun, and a spectacular fireworks finale. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and enjoy an unforgettable evening celebrating small-town America in the heart of Texas County, Missouri.

Celebrate the 4th of July in Cabool with an evening full of family fun, patriotic activities, live entertainment, community contests, food trucks, and fireworks on Main Street. Red, White & Bulldog Blue brings the community together for one of Cabool’s favorite hometown traditions with something for all ages to enjoy.

SATURDAY | JULY 4

  • 5:00 PM - Food Trucks & Vendors Open

  • 5:00 PM - Guest Speaker - Brody Stone

  • 5:15 PM - Cabool VFW 21 Gun Salute

  • 5:25 PM - Doug with The Hoss - Special Recognition for all Veterans who are present

  • 5:30 PM - Music by Greg Swann

  • 5:30-6:15 PM - Dunk Tank 1st person

  • 6:10 PM - Hula Hoop Contest -10 and under & 11 and up. Contest Rules:

    • Contestants must stay within the designated contest area.

    • The hula hoop must remain spinning around the waist (no hands allowed to expect to start).

    • If the hoop falls to the ground, the contestant is eliminated.

    • Last person hula hooping in each age group wins.

    • Judges' decisions are final. 1 winner for each age group

  • 6:15 - 7:00 PM - Dunk Tank 2nd person

  • 6:30 PM - Greg Swann Intermission - Stars Foundation performs

  • 6:50 - 8:00 PM - Music by Greg Swann

  • 7:10 PM - Watermelon Eating Contest -10 and under, 11-17, and 18 and up. Contest Rules:

    • ​Contestants must stay within the designated contest area.

    • Each contestant will receive the same equal slice of watermelon.

    • The winner is the contestant who finishes their watermelon first, as determined by the judges.

    • Judges' decisions are final. 1 winner for each age group

  • 7:35 PM - Scavenger Hunt Winners and Drawings

  • 8:00 PM - Firepit drawing

  • 8:00-8:15 PM - Live Music ends Fireworks start at dark, with music provided by The Hoss
